Wanting to signal something new and different was happening at Volkswagen with the all-new Jetta, we shook up the approach of traditional integrated campaigns by creating a unique team of partners - bringing together ManvsMachine, a multidimensional visual studio with Interscope records. The campaign was created completely in CG (nothing in camera) with tailored music tracks written and performed by various artists from Interscope. Some of the artists we worked with directly included Kali Uchis, Louis the Child, YUNGBLOODS, and Gryffin. Some of the tracks went on to become full length tracks available on Spotify, Pandora and iTunes. The campaign was written about in all the usual ad trades plus Billboard Magazine.
